An industrial building at Stellar Airpark in Chandler is going to be used as a manufacturing machine shop after a sale worth almost $2 million.

NAI Horizon senior vice president Mark Wilcke represented East Valley Precision of Gilbert as it bought the 15,000-square-foot building at 4148 W. Venus Way, a news release said.

East Valley Precision focuses on computer numerical control milling, turning and surface grinding, and waterjet cutting. The business specializes in machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, plastics, CPM 15V tool steel and other materials.

“East Valley Precision is in expansion mode, and this property will allow for that growth,” Wilcke said. “Available free-standing industrial buildings with yard area in the East Valley are getting more and more difficult to find. The demand is there and the supply is limited.”

The building on West Venus Way was constructed in 1998 and includes a clear height of 16 feet, grade-level loading, full power, taxiway access and a fenced yard.

Stellar Airpark is a privately owned, public-use airport surrounded by businesses, custom homes and commercial properties, according to its website. To learn more about the airpark, visit stellarairpark.org.
