A series of free small business development workshops are coming to Chandler.

The City of Chandler’s Economic Development Division and Chandler Library have partnered in hosting several free workshops to help small business owners start or grow their businesses. The workshops started June 14 and the next ones will be held 6-7:30 p.m. June 28 and July 12 at the Basha Library.

On June 14, “Your City and Chamber of Commerce Resources” gave small business owners the opportunity to learn about small business resources available through the City’s Economic Development and Tax & License divisions. The staff from the Chandler Chamber of Commerce also discussed their resources for startups and expanding businesses.

On June 28, “Getting Started with a Business Plan & Structure Plus Social Media Tips” will feature the Small Business Development Center and will discuss business plans and structures. The staff from the Chandler Public Library will give information on the library’s free resources for providing information for entrepreneurs and creating a business plan. Out of the Box Marketing will provide tips on social media for business owners.

On July 12, “Financing Your Business” will provide small business owners with information on business financing from the Small Business Administration.
