Chandler companies were recognized last month for their community involvement and volunteer efforts.

Among those recognized at a ceremony was Superlite, an Oldcastle company, for its volunteer work and product donations to improve landscapes as well as outdoor spaces throughout the city.

Mayor Jay Tibshraeny and the City Council also recognized other Chandler businesses for their contributions.

Superlite partnered with Chandler-based contractors and businesses to enhance outdoor spaces in churches, homes and community centers to ensure they followed city zoning ordinances.

In one case, Belgard pavers replaced the original gravel path at an area soup kitchen’s entrance. The soup kitchen feeds homeless people and others in need in Chandler.

Oldcastle Superlite, Aggie Inc., All Pro Fence Company, CEMEX, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, EcoShield Pest Control, Paver Aces, Pioneer Landscape Centers, Resurrection Street Ministry, Sun Master Masonry and Valley Christian Schools all donated products, materials, skills and time to boost outdoor spaces around Chandler.

Oldcastle Architectural is dedicated to improving communities in Arizona, around the West and across the country and in Canada.

It aims to foster meaningful relationships with residents, local business owners and city leaders with the donation of products and expertise.
