The menu at SanTan Brewing Company just got a brand-new dish: the beer-infused Brewer’s Mac + Cheese.
The entrée is paired with the brewery’s flagship beer, Devil’s Ale, which is also used to braise the short rib in the dish. Framed by a jack cheese crust, made creamy with horseradish cheese sauce, and topped with green onion, the Brewer’s Mac + Cheese is a filling dish for $13.25.
SanTan Brewing Company, located at 8 S. San Marcos Place in Chandler, has been serving Southwestern-style ales since 2007. The brewpub’s food menu is extensive, and includes everything from pizzas and burgers to breakfast and several gluten-free items (including two ciders).
SanTan Brewing Company founder and brewmaster Anthony Canecchia said his company’s mission is “To passionately spread our love of great craft beer paired with craft food and to inspire conversations that may change the world.”
The brewpub in downtown Chandler also regularly hosts events. This month, there will be an Easter Brunch on April 16th, and a craft beer dinner with Nincantoni’s Pizza on April 26th.
Also back on the menu for spring are SanTan Brewing Company’s seasonal beers, the Grapefruit Shandy and LimeLeaf.
The Grapefruit Shandy will be available through April, and features locally sourced grapefruit juice and provides a citrus kick at 4.7 percent ABV.
The LimeLeaf summer seasonal will be available starting in May, and on tap and store shelves through July. Made with Kaffir lime leaves, this traditional cream ale is herbal, citrusy and smooth. This 4.9 percent ABV beer is made with American ale yeast, Columbus hops and 2-row, corn and wheat malts.
