Thoughts, news from Sun Lakes Methodist

The following was sent to me by a friend with no other word. I read it and marveled at how it is the right question at the right time for us. I am going to reflect upon it and hopefully allow it to influence my life, my thinking, and my reactions.

“If we could spread love as quickly as we spread hate and negativity, what an amazing world we would live in!”

Might it be that I should ask myself if this word…, this tweet…, this Facebook post…, will spread love or…?

Sweet Life Café, a biblical based book study, will be held at noon Wednesdays in Room 4 at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church beginning Sept. 17.

This fall the study will focus on the book “Proverbs: Learning to Live Wisely.”

As the Book of Proverbs offers wisdom and guidance so too will this study.

Through the readings you will experience advice that is practical, reasonable, wholesome, understandable, shrewd, fruitful, and concrete.

Because this season is so different from the rest, the study will be held via ZOOM, an interactive, virtual classroom.

If you would like to join this study, please call the Church office at 480-895-8766 to register. You will be asked to provide your email address for invitational purposes and directions on how to pick up your book.
